Glen Lyon (Gaelic: Ghleann Lìomhann) is a glen in the Perth and Kinross region of Scotland. It is the longest enclosed glen in Scotland and runs for 34 miles from Loch Lyon in the west to the village of Fortingall in the east.   It was the home to the Campbells of Glen Lyon, who were responsible for the infamous Glencoe Massacre, although in their defence they had been raided the previous winter by the McDonalds of Glencoe and left reliant on the good grace of their neighbour, John Campbell, Earl of Breadalbane, who some believe was actually behind the massacre.
